June Favorites!

Happy Wednesday, Cupcakes! I hope you are all having a lovely week so far!

With June coming to an end, I thought I'd share with you some of my June Favorites. This month has been filled with trying out a lot of new products, apps, planning supplies, and going on lots of adventures! In the end, I am overly pleased with a lot of new things that have come into my life this month! I hope you check out some of these favorites for yourself!

On my list of Planning Faves are:

  • Heart Smile Spiral Notebook from Chapters Indigo
  • Pentel R.S.V.P. BK90 Fine - Black
  • BIC Atlantis Colored Ball-point pens

Heart Smile Spiral Notebook | Chapters Indigo
You may have already seen this in my Chapters Indigo Collective Haul from last week, but I am absolutely in love with this notebook. Not only because I got it for $6 (SIX STINKIN' DOLLARS GUYS!) but also because it is absolutely gorgeous! Also, the paper quality is phenomenal--almost like an in-between of generic notebook paper and card stock. Plus, how can you not love that gold binding to match the gold foil quote on the cover?

Pentel R.S.V.P. BK90 Fine - Black | Pentel
I recently picked up this pen from the storage room from my work (lol #WorkPerks) and I am absolutely in love with it! Even though it is fine point, it disburses the perfect amount of ink when you write--not too much and not too dry! It also writes very smoothly which I love. Overall, this pen is one of my favorites to use in my planners, especially for small areas to write in--like inside of The Happy Planner boxes.

BIC Atlantis ball-point colored pens | BIC
I recently picked these pens up at Staples during a sale. It was on an A La Carte kind of display where you could purchase 4 for $7. I couldn't resist and bought some. I currently have pink, neon green, purple and blue (although I couldn't find my blue pen for the photo). These pens write so smoothly on paper and add a fun touch to anything I write on.

Onwards, some of my geeky/tech favorites for this month include:
  • YouTubers Life: The Video Game
  • Discord
  • LOLSUMO
  • Finding Dory

YouTubers Life | U-Play
There was this one week in June where all of my gaming subscriptions were playing YouTubers Life. I immediately became curious and bought the game on Steam. Not one moment have I regretted it. It is a fun and addicting simulation game where you are playing your "life story" of how you became a successful YouTuber. It is actually a really well-thought-out game and I got so sucked into the game that I ended up playing for 4 hours straight without noticing that much time passed by the first time I launched it.

Discord
If you are a gamer who loves connecting with others while playing multiplayer online, you probably already know this app or you're about to find your new gaming communication love! This app creates chat/talking servers for you and your friends/subscribers/team members/etc. to use in-game or just for fun! It also allows your friends list to see what games you are currently playing. You can create a server, send the link to whomever you want, and instantly they can join your server to chat, send links, share photos, or directly talk to you. I use this app every time I play League of Legends with my friends or record a new YouTube video with Adam. It is really simple to use and creates far less lag than Skype.

LOLSUMO | Dojo Madness
I recently downloaded this app a couple of days ago and I am in love. If you play League of Legends, this is probably one of the best strategy apps. When in-game, it tells you who is on the other team, what roles they are playing, their ranks and it creates a custom build path for you, to help defeat your enemy champion. At the end of the game, it rates your performance--helping you see where you need to improve as a player and where you did really well.

Finding Dory | Pixar & Walt Disney Pictures
If you haven't seen Finding Dory yet, I highly suggest you walk yourself to the movie theatre, right now, to go and see it! For my generation, we have waited 13 years for this movie to come out and I can wholeheartedly say I loved it. The themes of overcoming a disability, family and friendship really warmed my heart! Was it worth the 13 years? Absolutely. I'd see it again and again and again.

Finally, some of my June Lifestyle Favorites include:
  • Lush Fresh Face Mask: Rosy Cheeks
  • Starbucks Dates
  • Daisy by Marc Jacobs

Rosy Cheeks | Lush Fresh Face Mask
I had just recently picked up the Rosy Cheeks face mask from Lush. It has calamine powder, rose oil, rose petals, and many other natural ingredients to create this amazing smelling and feeling mask for your face. I'd have to say, it was totally worth the money. It left my face feeling so soft and refreshed. Plus it smells delicious--unlike some of the other masks I've tried.

Starbucks
This summer, Starbucks has been my go-to drink! Whether I'm feeling fruity--for a passion tango lemonade--or needing an extra kick to my day--with an espresso frapp or an iced white mocha--Starbucks always quenches my thirst. I know many people argue that it is super expensive for just a drink, but it just does the trick for me!

Daisy | Marc Jacobs
This month, my favorite scent just so happens to be Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I feel like, because it is summer, it just gives such a nice light floral-ly scent that isn't too overpowering. I have been wearing it all June and even have a mini in my office desk at work.

  1. Try the purple drink at Starbucks! They should know what you are talking about!!! Refreshing to say the least! I still haven't seen Finding Dori, my nugget is not into sitting in movie theaters.

    1. I will for sure give the Purple Drink a try! Well, when Finding Dory comes out on DVD, you could always put it on right before nap time or during play time! :D
