DIY Fitness Planner + FREE PRINTABLE


Happy Thursday, Planner People!

Long time no planner post, huh? I've been on such a horrible planning slump u_u

Thankfully, I'm slowly getting back into the groove and have been experimenting with new planners and new planning styles inside of my Happy Planner! I'm super excited to share with you today how I turned one of my extra Happy Planners into a Fitness Planner!

I have way too many planners for my own good (but you probably already knew that) and have been trying to play around with new ways to use them so they don't go to waste. Because I started going to the gym more and setting fitness goals, I thought there was no better way to use one of my planners than to use it as a fitness planner/tracker! In this spread, I will be using a custom fitness sticker sheet I created.


I have broken the spread up into four sections: meals, exercise, hydration and steps.


I have been working continuously to try to eat healthier--which is why the top section of my planner is reserved for my meal tracking. If you are anything like me: writing down and seeing what I've eaten that day makes me feel more conscious of what I eat. I feel horrible every time I have to write down junk food into my planner because it continuously haunts me--which causes me to want to eat healthier homemade meals instead.


The other sections are pretty straight forward. In the exercise section, I mark as to whether I am going to the gym or not that day. I also will mark down what workouts I will be doing that day. For example, once a week Adam and I do a virtual yoga fitness class at our gym--so on the day we do that, I would mark down Yoga Class.

In the hydrate section, I note how many ounces of water I drank that day. I know some people prefer to have the water tracker stickers and just check off every cup they drink, but personally I feel noting my ounces makes me want to drink more because there is an actual numerical value.

In my steps section, I would just track how many steps I took that day. My phone typically counts my steps for me, which is awesome.


In the sidebar, I have a couple trackers which would help me remember to do certain things for my health. These include tracking whether or not I actually go to the gym, certain types of daily exercise I try to do, medication tracking, and goals like No Junk.

In the simplest way, I transformed my Happy Planner into a Fitness Planner without having to spend a whole load of money buying a whole new planner specifically made for fitness.
